DON (Vomitoxin) is chemically known as Deoxynivalenol, DON is produced most commonly by the pink mold Fusarium Graminearum. It can cause gastrointestinal illness in humans. In animals, it can cause vomiting, feed refusal, immune suppression, and weight loss, especially in swine. Fusarium species can mainly affect Corn, Wheat, Oats and Barley.
